SCH Produktion is back in business. After a lot of struggling with rental car companies, we finally made our way to our first goal on this trip. Crystal Mountain. Last weeks of heavy snowfall brought up some big smiles on our faces. We loaded the bags with camera equipment, prepared our skis, kissed the last days of trouble goodbye, and got ready for some action. We hooked up with Tyler, a local ski talent, to show us the mountain. At first sight the system looked rather small, but it turned out to be a mountain with a lot of possibilities. Steep terrain and huge areas gave us top of the line powder skiing these days and some fine material for our next film. The weather wasn’t the best, but it was snowing most of the time so we couldn’t complain. We had some sun in between and that really made this week a week to remember.

Christmas was a little bit different this year. Instead of the traditionally celebrating the crew woke up to an American breakfast containing white bread, coffee (or something like that), and some Aladdin chocolates brought by Pierre who thereby climbed the popularity throne. After breakfast we had a magic day with skiing and photo shooting. Never seen Kim that stoked!! Satisfied we went home to eat a Christmas dinner in one of the local restaurants but everything was closed of course, and we had no kitchen in our hotel room. Bad planning! Finally we found a shabby Mexican restaurant that didn’t look to tempting, but we had to fill our empty bags and went in. Think we all had better Christmas dinners before, but we had a nice evening with some good laughs.

Saturday the 20th of December we left Oslo for a 3 week long road trip in the US. The plane left at 6.35 from Gardemoen and we were 4 tired guys that checked in for the early morning flight to Seattle via Amsterdam. 10 hours with flying later, were we picked up Petrus at Amsterdam airport we end up meeting Marcus, Adde and Pierre in Seattle.

Our plan was to pick up our rental car, a big van and head for Kicking horse, Canada. That wasn´t easy, the company we rented through didn´t told us that the US company had went bankrupt. So it turned out to be a 2 days struggle to get a new car. We had to sleep at a motel outside town and to get there wasn´t easy, 20cm of snow and the cab drivers wouldn´t drive anywhere in Seattle. But many phone calls later we got 3 small cars and packed them full and headed for Crystal Mopuntain. To leave the Washington state was not an option, a big storm had hit us. The weather forecast was predicting a lot of snow, which was perfect for eight powder hungry swedes!

Next time we will tell you all about spending Christmas at a mexican restaurant and tree powder skiing at Crystal Mountain.

The film has arrived and we're soon of to the states!

Early this friday morning we finaly got the call from the delivery company that our film was in Oslo. Sweet! After a quick breakfast and fastforwarding through the movie to check that everything was ok, me and Tobias stuffed a bag with 1000 copies and ran them all the way to Oslosportslager so people finaly can see our film.

The rest om the day is dedicated to packing. The plane leaves from the airport 6.30 tomorrow morning and I'm stil not sure if I have all the suff I'm going to need. But I'm quite sure that with all skiing equipnet and camera stuff my bags will be classed as "heavy" :)

After a fall waiting for snow almost everyone in Sch went to Hemsedal, Norway to have the season debut. The conditions was rock hard the first two days, but a nice snowfall the whole Saturday did the Sunday nicer with soft slopes. The landscape also changed into postcard like scene, which bring the right feeling to us all. So we had a nice weekend with a lot of skiing and some beer at the after ski, so now the season is officially started!

We also had our release party in Oslo the 15th of November at “Gamla Bar” with 250 guests. We showed our movie, had a live band called Brutus were our photographer is guitarist and a DJ.

So after a release party and a weekend with skiing here in Norway, Sch is ready for it´s first big assignment this winter: Our USA trip.
The 20th of December we travel to Seattle. Our plan is to travel to a couple of resorts in the state of Washington. But you never know, maybe a trip to Canada will be done. We´re going to be in Mt Baker to celebrate the new year, other than that we have no plans right now, we have decided to follow the snow. Check our website for updates, we´re going to post articles and stories from our trip and have a video blog as well.
